1st International Conference of the IAVCEI Commission on Volcanic & Igneous Plumbing Systems (VIPS) Conference

We are delighted to announce that the 1st International Conference of the IAVCEI Commission on Volcanic & Igneous Plumbing Systems (VIPS) will take place in 2024 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. This event is being hosted by the MAGMA lab at the University of Liverpool, from 18th-20th June 2024.

Workshops will be held on the 18th of June, with the poster and oral presentations occurring on the 19th and 20th of June. Registration to join in-person has now closed but there’s still time to Register to join our online audience (deadline 13th June).

The conference will be held at The Spine, 2 Paddington Village, Liverpool (L7 3FA).

About Us

The main goal of the new IAVCEI commission on VIPS is to provide a forum for VIPS research beyond disciplinary or methodological boundaries to foster an integrated understanding of magma transport and storage in the crust.
